School Aged children Flu Vaccine 2021

All primary aged school children will be vaccinated by the school nurse in late November. Please wait for school to contact you about your child don’t contact the Practice.

COVID-19 vaccination programme

The NHS has started the first phase of the COVID-19 vaccination programme. When it is the right time for you to receive your vaccine, you will receive an invitation to come forward. Please do not contact the NHS to get an appointment until you are contacted.

The NHS is prioritising the rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine. When it is your turn to get the vaccine you will be contacted. This may be by phone or letter from your GP or national NHS booking service.

Temporary change to practice operating model

Dear Patient,

Primary Care 24 is completely committed to looking after you and your health. COVID-19 (Corona virus) is putting a lot of pressure on the whole NHS, including general practices. We have decided after careful thought that we will be able to run a better service by bringing the Seaforth Practice to join our practice in Litherland Town Hall. This will help us to keep our levels of staffing safe and provide the best care possible for you.

This decision has not been an easy one to make, but we are confident that operating from one site will be the best way forward.

New arrangements from 18.03.20

Seaforth patients – GP practice telephone number will remain the same 0151 949 1717.  Please continue to use this number to contact the practice.  Please do not attend the practice in person as the building will be closed.

Those patients who have appointments booked will be contacted to rearrange the appointment at Litherland.

Litherland patients – these changes will have no impact on you.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that this will cause for patients, and we hope to have both Seaforth and Litherland practices operating as normal as soon as possible.

We very much appreciate your support and cooperation.

Prescription Advice

Due to Coronavirus (Covid 19) we are kindly asking patients to limit visits to the practice. If you need to order your medication and do not have online access, please put your request slips into the box in the front foyer. If you would like to enrol for online access please download the NHS app or telephone the practice for further details. Please note, the reception team can not take prescription requests over the telephone. Your patience and kindness is appreciated during this busy time.

Appointment Advice

Due to Coronavirus (Covid 19) we would ask you to minimise visits to the surgery. All appointment bookings will now only be accepted over the phone. Please do not come into the surgery. The reception team will be asking NHS England approved questions before making a telephone consultation with the clinician. The GP will attempt to deal with your complaint over the phone and will only invite you into the surgery if you require an examination. Your patience and kindness would be much appreciated during this busy time.
